Important 2020 Season Information

COVID-19 Information

Both WGASC & ADLA are committed to the health and safety of our performers, volunteers, and staff members. We continue to follow guidance from the Center of Disease Control, state and local departments of health, and school districts to ensure a safe, healthy environment for our community.  At this time, our events have not been impacted, and will proceed as planned unless local or state health organizations state otherwise. We are remaining in regular contact with our show hosts regarding the status of events, as school administrators make decisions about the closures of schools that may affect our contests.

2020 PreSeason Director/Instructor Meeting for Southern California Ensembles

This meeting is for Directors and Instructors of Southern California Ensembles and will be held at Orange High School in Orange, California on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10:00am to 1:30pm – Band Room / Room 108.

At the Pre-Season meeting we will take the opportunity to review and clarify changes in procedures, rules, sheets, performance order, critique, and ensemble divisions to name a few topics.

Additionally, an ensemble representative in attendance will receive a “Director Badge” for the ensemble they are there representing – one badge per ensemble.  The Director Badge can be used for entry to events during the 2020 Season.  Additionally, each ensemble in attendance will receive a priority “performance time” for regular season shows (does not to apply to semis or finals).

If you are unable to send a representative to the meeting for your ensemble, you will not receive a director badge and your ensemble will be placed into normal performance order and will perform prior to those ensembles with representatives that attend the meeting.
